In April 2023, we launched the Switching Gears pilot program at SQPA. Over six weeks, the afterschool initiative successfully instructed 20 students, aged 8 to 13, in biking fundamentals. Participants learned not only how to assemble a bike but also about various bike types, the physical, social, and mental health benefits of biking.
