New York City, NY (May 31, 2022) – Professional BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester and the Nigel Sylvester Foundation hosted several events and initiatives throughout the month of May in celebration of National Bike Month. May represents a key time for the Nigel Sylvester Foundation to further deepen its impact in the community and support its mission of providing bicycles to underserved youth.

Throughout the month, Nigel along with several communities and brand partners hosted numerous events, including Bike-a-Day in May, LIFE Camp, Inc. bike giveaway, and LA Dodgers activation. Thanks to our partners, the Nigel Sylvester Foundation was able to donate 51 bikes and impact over 250 people in May alone.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to share bicycling with so many kids”, said Sylvester. “A bicycle afforded me so much, so to be able to share that with kids, it’s important. I know these kids will enjoy these bikes. A lot of good times and fun moments will come from them.”
